Cabecas do Reguengo Clarete 2023
The Respiro Clarete is a vibrant blend from four century-old vineyards at 600 meters altitude, featuring around ten red and white grape varieties, including Alicante Bouschet, Trincadeira, Arinto, and Tamarez Pérola.
Fermented together in cement vats and aged in large wooden lagars, this wine captures the essence of Portalegre with fresh, crunchy dark fruit and red berry notes, accented by black licorice, lavender, and rosemary. Soft tannins and lively acidity make it exceptionally food-friendly and best enjoyed slightly chilled. Naturally fermented, aged 8 months in old oak, and bottled without fining.
