The 2023 Cabeças do Reguengo Equinócio is an elegant white wine from Portugals Alentejo region, crafted by João Afonso from a historic vineyard near Reguengo village in the Serra de São Mamede.
Grown on low-yielding, ancient vines at 598 meters on granite soils, this wine blends 14 unique grape varieties with no dominant one.
Hand-harvested and aged 15 months in used oak, it offers aromas of orange blossom, tangerine, and wild herbs, with a rich, textured palate and balanced citrus notes.
Praised for its freshness, purity, and refined character, this wine is a true expression of traditional Portuguese winemaking.
