Cabecas do Reguengo Luar 2023 hails from a century-old vineyard, offering aromas and flavors of red fruits, subtle spices, balsamic hints, and minerality. It has a fresh, textured profile that brings a breath of fresh air, evoking the vast Alentejo starry skya delightful surprise for both immediate enjoyment or aging potential.
Made with Trincadeira and other undisclosed grape varieties, the grapes were fermented in cement tanks and aged for 20 months in old barrels and oak casks.
It has a medium-intensity light ruby color, with aromas of blackberry, raspberry, cherry, light white pepper, and earthy notes of cement, wild herbs, and wet stone. On the palate, it is dry with medium acidity, medium alcohol, rough tannins, and a medium body, delivering flavors of blackberry, raspberry, strawberry, a touch of black pepper, and a medium finish.
Best served at 17°C.
