Chateau Fortia Réserve 2019
Wonderful intense cherry -red colour with purple reflections. Intense and concentrated nose: mocha, cocoa then ripe fruits, graphite and delicately spiced at the end. Remarkably balanced on the palate: full and massive but very elegant, tannins are perfectly coated. The mineral tension helps to lighten the extreme density of this wine and reinforces a surprising drinkability. Very good length, with finish on Espelette chilli pepper. Aged for 24 months in stainless steel tanks.
