Rosé da Fita Preta Cuvée is a rosé wine with a great aromatic spectrum and a fine and elegant structure. It presents aromas of red wild fruits, herbaceous notes and some balsamic notes. It is a structured, fresh wine with very balanced acidity.
Rosé da Fita Preta Cuvée is a rosé wine produced with red grapes of Castelão, Trincadeira, and Aragonez of the Alentejo Wine region. After the pressing process, the fermentation process has occurred at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks where it has stayed until being bottled. The final blend comes from the blend of younger rosé wines with older rosé wines.
Light salmon colour. The creamy texture on the pallet and a sensation of sweetness is perfectly balanced with a refreshing level of acidity.
The vines are cultivated under integra - ted production regime, on infertile rocky schist or granitic soils and mature to a peak of ripeness in the hot and dry Mediterranean climate, while retaining refreshing acidity from the cold nights. The vines naturally produce low-yields of small, highly concentrated berries with intense aromatics. After tasting in the vineyard indicates the grapes have have reached optimal fruit profile, they are handpicked and transported to the winery in small boxes.
All bunches are inspected for quality on a sorting table. Indigenous yeast fermentation, 55% drained juice and 45% whole bunch pressing.
Well matched to a range of lighter dishes such as seafood, pork and chicken. Surprisingly successful with more strongly flavored Indian, Thai, and Japanese cuisine.
