Champagne Hélène Beaugrand&s Le Rosé Henriette is a tribute to the winemaker&s grandmother, who once managed the family estate. This Extra-Brut rosé is crafted exclusively from Pinot Meunier grapes sourced from select parcels in Montgueux, specifically ZP88 and ZO46, situated mid-slope with southeast exposure. The vines thrive in Turonian soft limestone and 90-million-year-old flint soils, contributing to the wine&s distinctive minerality.
Vinification occurs in stainless steel tanks, with complete malolactic fermentation to enhance complexity. The cuvée matures on lees for a minimum of 36 months, culminating in an Extra-Brut dosage of 3 g/l, which accentuates the wine&s purity and crispness.
In the glass, Le Rosé Henriette reveals a delicate hue. Rich nose with wax notes complementing grapefruit notes. On the vibrant palate, the Champagne displays remarkable concentration, with fresh red berries, burnt cotton candy, subtle smoke, leading to a saline-infused finish that underscores its mineral origins.
Esteemed critics have recognized the quality of Le Rosé Henriette. Tim Atkin awarded it 92 points, while Wine Spectator also rated it 92 points. These accolades reflect the wine&s exceptional craftsmanship and the unique terroir of Montgueux.
