This is not your typical Grüner Veltliner. The nose is intensely aromatic, with ripe stone fruit, white pepper, and wild herbs. A hint of salinity and minerality adds intrigue. On the palate, it is textured and layered, offering bright citrus and orchard fruit flavors, balanced by an electric acidity and a long, savory finish. The depth and structure come from a 16-month aging period in amphora, an ancient technique that enhances purity and complexity.
