Concept
Maçanita Vinhos is a project by two siblings, both winemakers. These are wines made with four hands, and while some wines are produced together, they reflect the preferences, quirks, or visions of each sibling. This wine comes from the final press, containing the most concentrated juice with a golden hue. This is the "Laranja do Norte" (Orange of the North), the best orange, born and ripened by the northern climate.
Origin
Baixo Corgo, from vineyards at 540-700 meters of altitude.
Vinification
After a gentle pressing, the grapes are macerated for 3 to 4 days and then pressed again. Fermentation is spontaneous in stainless steel with temperature control.
Aging
18 months in stainless steel.
