Tasting Notes
Straw yellow color, with aromas of tea leaves, white plum, and sherry touches. On the palate, it has a dense and creamy entry, finishing with deep minerality.

Concept
Maçanita Vinhos is a project by two siblings, both winemakers, creating wines with "four hands." Some wines, though produced together, reflect the preferences, quirks, or visions of each sibling. Malvasia Fina is a grape variety that oxidizes easily, leading to its decline in many regions. In this Malvasia Fina, we embraced that characteristic—instead of protecting the must from oxidation, we oxygenated it, fermented it in horizontal tanks and barrels, and allowed it to age without sulfite protection until bottling, relying on bâtonnage to perform that function.

Origin
Baixo Corgo - Vila de Poiares - the vineyards are located right in the center of the village, at 536 meters of altitude, facing north. The vineyards overflow with freshness and richness.

Vinification
The grapes are hand-harvested and transported in 18kg boxes. In the winery, whole bunches are directly pressed, with 40% of the fermentation in barrels and 60% in stainless steel tanks placed horizontally in contact with the lees.

Aging
12 months in barrels.
