Maçanita Reserva Tinto 2022
CONCEPT: Brother and Sister, both winemakers, friends and business partners for more than 15 years and 14 wineries. Pursuing an old dream of a joint wine venture, this was how Mac?anita Vinhos was born. This Mac?anita Reserva 2020 is the result of mixing the experience of the two winemakers, brother and sister, lots of discussions, lots of fun, all resumed in this bottle of the Brother and Sister Mac?anita Reserva 2020. We hope youll enjoy.
VINIFICATION: All grapes are hand-picked into 18kg cases. In the winery cold soak, spontaneus fermentation, post maceration on skins for 26 days. Aged 14 months in 10% new french oak barrels, 55% neutral and 35% inox.
TASTING NOTES: Deep ruby-violet color, showing a concentrated aroma of dark fruits and floral notes. In the palate, concentrated ripe fruit with rounded tannins ending with a persistent finish.
Serve with game dishes well seasoned red meat or cheeses.
