CONCEPT: Mac?anita Vinhos is a brother and sister project! Both winemakers who aim to explore the Douros terroir to the fullest.
The sub-region of Cima Corgo, wich distinguishes itself from the others by presenting a cooler continental climate, gave origin to this single blend Touriga Nacional. The result is a more jovial, floral and fresher Touriga Nacional than generally found in the other Douro sub-regions. We challenge you and hope you enjoy, as much as we do, tasting it side by side with our other Touriga Nacional from the Douro Superior sub-region!
TASTING NOTES: Intense violet-ruby colour. Very fresh in the mouth with a strong fruit expression, making this wine pretty lickerish with another maturation level. Unoaked which allows us to taste this grape, raw like weve never seen it before.
Goes well with white and red meat dishes with both traditional and modern cuisine.
